Frequently Asked Questions
What is Motoberfest?
A celebration of the 2 wheel lifestyle in Cincinnati for scooters and motorcycles with a theme based around our German brewery heritage. Our event was formerly known as the Queen City Mods & Rockers Rally but changed in 2015 for our fourth annual event when the Bunbury music festival moved to our weekend.
We’ll celebrate all that is good in Cincinnati with an event that features a vintage motorcycle and scooter show. Along with a myriad of vendors, highlights include a bike / scooter contest and a day full of music from bands, a DJ spinning New Wave, Punk, Ska and Reggae, and raffles.
What does it cost?
$20 for the all access pass which includes entry for the Friday Meetup & ride, Saturday group ride, Mid day party at 16Bit arcade as an alternative to the ride, Saturday evening party including the Biltwell ART & MOTO helmet show and auction. One ticket to rule them all.
Rally shirts are available for sale at all of the events and online afterwards.
I don’t have a vintage motorcycle or scooter or even a cafe racer, can I still participate?
Yes, this is not an exclusive event. We welcome all nice people who want to ride. Mopeds, Goldwings, Enduros, Street Bikes, Brat bikes, Rat bikes, new scooters or old scooters it doesn’t matter as long as you want to have fun and be social. If you don’t have a motor bike at all, you can show up at the rally point to eyeball all of the cool rides, make some friends, listen to music and visit our vendors booths. A good time for all.
Is There a Charity That Benefits From The Rally?
For the third year in a row, our primary charity is the Life Center. This local charity, The LifeCenter is a regional organ and tissue donation organization. They do good work managing tissue and organ donation and matching them up with recipients in the region. They will be at the event to help tell their story and attract new people as donors. Please give to this worthy cause.
How do I volunteer to help at the Rally?
That’s awesome that you are a giving person. We can use all of the help we can get to make this event successful. After all, we’d like to make this an annual event in Cincinnati and the best that it can be. Drop us a line via the Contact form and let us know you can help. Staff volunteers get a cool special limited edition Tshirt and some extra perks.
Is Camping Available?
Some folks from Michigan and Northern Ohio have asked about camping options nearby. Motorcyclists will often travel great distances with just a tent and backpack of clothing/gear to save money and enjoy a little outdoor adventure. So, here is what some of our members have recommended:
Winton Woods Park is $27 per night with full hookups. Great for tents, campers & RV’s.
Miami Whitewater is also a good alternative but a little further away from the Rally venue.
We could also put the request out if you’d like to camp in someone’s back yard 🙂
We often recommend the Garfield Suites hotel, a centrally located hotel to the event. Central to both Friday night’s events and Saturday night’s events. They will have motorcycle/scooter parking nearby. This is a great option when traveling on two wheels, or if you plan to party hard this weekend and would rather not drive home.
